There are many things, where the same structure can be used. And maybe the purpose of Trestle or Atlas I (Air Force Weapons Lab Transmission-Line Aircraft Simulator) array was to test multiple things by using the same structures and technology. But there is another theory about the purpose of that system. There is possible to make vacuum by using electromagnetic systems, and the questions are that, was the purpose to create a vacuum, which makes possible to operate big aircraft like B-1 or B-52 as VTOL-planes? In this case, the lightweight system can cause the power vacuum, when it would bring in the airbase, and even if the runway is bombed, that vacuum can rise the aircraft in the airborne.
In the wildest scenarios, the attempt was to pack the aircraft in the smaller size by increasing the magnetic pulling force of the nucleus of the atoms. The idea of that test would be that the aircraft would be pumped with electromagnetic radiation, and that would cause that the nucleus of the atom would start to suck the electrons closer of the nucleus, what makes the atoms smaller. And in the thing is that phenomenon would make the object smaller.
Or maybe the idea of Atlas I was that the aircraft would transfer the wormhole or black hole, what will allow the air force to travel in the other solar systems. But these things are only rumors. Below the text is the movie of the Atlas I, and in point 16:11 there seems to be a black triangle shadow behind the aircraft. And that thing might be only the shadow, what the high-power lightning simulators would make, but there is claimed to be some black budget aircraft behind the bomber.
