Microtargeting message gives effectiveness for social media campaigns

Microtargeting messages are giving change to send a personal message to the persons, who the marketer wants to influence. The target for that kind of message can be the center point of some social network, which makes this kind of marketing more influential. The idea of microtargeting is to find out the center persons of the social media network, and then to them would send the message, and after that many other people would see that message in the wall of that social media user.

The thing in this kind of marketing is that it would pass the filters, what normally is denying marketing, and then the people who are users of the social media would see that message, what is written the real person. When the profiler would start to find the center of the social media network, they are looking for people who are public persons, and the thing is that people like rock stars are interesting actors in that role.

The profiler can see their public pages, and ask people in their own social media network. For that use, those people can use their real identities, but they can also use fishing profiles, which are made for faked identities. Fishing is not phishing in this text. Fishing is the term, which means that the profile is used to collect the contacts of social media, and the phishing is an illegal act, that means asking about the passwords and usernames by using some fake identities or faked homepages.

Those virtual people can play roles in the areas, which normally dare for some people. They can be hackers, drag racers or something else. The idea is that those people are interesting, and they are spurring the people to talk freely about things, what might interest them and what they want to change. Then the profiler would write something to that social media, and then that person follows the reactions about some messages.

So that means that the profilers are discussing with people, and try to find out their opinions about some merchandise or political actor. In this case, I use the politician as an example. The most important thing is to find out the opinion of the people about the things, what the politicians can influence, and then they would send the message to the wall, where seems to hang the people, who are interested in the politician and then they are looking for the politician, whose campaign fits to that profile. The campaign of the politician is like the lock and the elector is the key.

In the list of the big marketing offices are many politicians during big and important elections, and then the profilers are looking for the candidates, whose campaign would look like suitable for the electors, and then they slip the message to the electors. That message is probably the thing, what contains the joke or something, and the link to the homepages of the politician. That joke might be like "this guy has the glasses, what makes him look just like John Lennon" or something like that, and then the link to the homepages would send the users to the homepage of the candidate.

And the most important thing in this kind of marketing is that the people would not get political marketing straight in that message, what is send in that wall. The sender of this fishing message might use also some foreign language, and the idea is that the message would wake the interest of the people to click the link. Here I took the politician as the example of this kind of marketing, but the same methodology can be used in the other marketing. So the thing what would be marketed could be coffeemaker, chainsaw or mobile telephone. Also, the customer survey can be made by that kind of way.

The surveyor might ask people, have they bought some merchandise, or do they know people who have bought the things like chainsaws, and what they have like that? Or have they visited in some hotel, and what they have liked that? That kind of things are very easy to make, and those persons might use their own social media accounts for that kind of things. There is nothing illegal to ask about an opinion about some hotel or restaurant and the surveyor must not tell people, that the idea is to make a marketing survey.
