The inventions and inventors in the book Cyberiad
When the inventor creates things like the computer, the best thing what must make clear is, that the new machines or prototypes should not equip with every tool, what can become in the mind. Here I mean the chapter, where the main characters are escaping the attack of the computer, what is equipped with the machine hands. Those hands were meant for self-washing purposes, and because of some mistake, the computer would dig itself from the ground and attack against the inventors. The thing is that Cyberiad could happen in the computer virtual world makes it very futuristic, even if it was published in a long time ago.
Cyberiad is the tale about two inventors, and another is the wise man, who would not do anything, and another one is an innovative and very interesting person. When we are thinking about wisdom, we might think, that it is very nice to be a wise man, and sit without doing nothing, and this kind of wise men don't normally think, that without innovations and daring, we would sit on the branch of the tree, and think some wise thoughts.
But when we are thinking about the cases, that some meteorite will hit us, we must just turn that piece away or destroy it with some kind of nukes. This is the way of thinking of an intelligent person. We have abilities to fight back in those cases, and we can fight back if we want. We can push the asteroid away from the track or shoot it with a nuclear explosion.
The thing is that if we are a little bit too innovative, we are facing very creepy thing that we are creating some very bad merchandise like robots, what would terminate everybody in life. When we are thinking about the box, what the inventor made for the king, that this person could play the game with the things, what are on the planet, what is in the box.
We always forget that the thing might be that the box is actually the screen, which will show the images from the real planet, which is surrounded by satellites. And those persons who live on the planet might be implanted with microchips, what would make those creatures robots, what are following the signals, what this king would send.
Or they might be ants, what are implanted by using the microchip, what would put in the place of the brains of those bugs. And that technology would give the possibility to play the god. The microchip, what is used in those ants would be the chisel, and it can install to those robots by using the mechanism, what will put it straight in the place of the brains. And when the ant dies, the thing is that those microchips could find from that box, and then recycle to another ant. This kind of thing would be a little bit too perfect in my sight.
