When people are creating a very strong class and plastics, what would stand the high temperature and pressure, all around the world is made very big structures by using the glass and other transparent material. And the thing is that if the glass or plastic would be covered by the diamond layer, what looks like glass, that allows creating the strongest material in the world, and that kind of layer can cover entire aircraft.  When we are thinking about the ceramics, that is made thinner by using explosives, that material is stronger than any metal in the world.

Only diamond can make a scratch to that material, and if that material combination is used in the aircraft body would that thing be bulletproof.  And that thing has bought in the mind of some engineers, that entire aircraft would be created by using the ceramics or glass, what is similar, that used in the windows of the spacecraft. Also smaller drones can make by using the plexiglass or plastics, which are transparent.

The ceramic aircraft is the old idea, and the thing was about to create the low observable aircraft, which would be difficult to locate by the visual imaging. The idea was very simple, and it was the so-called "low tech" version of the camera based STEALTH system. The idea was to use the very strong glass and polymethyl methacrylate, what is normally called as plexiglass for creating the entire aircraft, what would be transparent, and if the glass or transparent ceramics would be strong enough, that kind of aircraft would fly the missions and the visual location of that vehicle would be extremely difficult.

Or it could be more difficult than locating the aircraft, what is made by using conventional material, and sometimes there have been talked about this kind of solution, what would be made by using the similar glass, what is used in the windows of the spacecraft. The idea became in the mind of some engineers when they read the story of the ceramic test motor, what was made by Porsche. That test motor made the idea that the entire aircraft can be made by using the diamond or glass, what is covered by using the artificial diamond layer, what is made by using methane with extremely high pressure and temperature.

The idea of this process is to remove the air from the chamber before the methane would deliver in the reactor. Because there is no oxygen would the burning be impossible but the carbon would become reduced, and the high pressure and temperature would allow creating the conditions, that the carbon would take the crystallized form, and that kind of extreme hard layer would allow creating the structures, by using the new materials like glass.

The ceramic structure would put in the chamber, and it would cover the structure with an extremely hard layer. In some cases, this kind of structure would be created by using the water, which would not boil in a very high temperature. And then the methane would deliver in the chamber, and because water would not capitulate, if there is no gas inside it, this thing would allow creating the water, what is covered by using the artificial diamond. This kind of structure would be very stable, and it can in theory use in many cases, where the regular materials are used.
