Electric vehicles of tomorrow

Hydrogen production in the vehicle can revolutionize the traffic. 

If we would produce the hydrogen for fuel cells in the car, that kind of vehicle can be operated in the highways of the future. In this case, the electricity for electrolysis can be taken from the socket, and the car can use fuel cells or batteries optionally. And those fuel cells would make the operational radius of the vehicle longer, and that thing can be the hybrid car of tomorrow.

We can think that the combination of electric- and hydrogen operating car is one of the most interesting choices, what we can think. If we would tank the car by using water and then scatter it to hydrogen and oxygen in the car, we might have a suitable vehicle, which has no pollution. But there have been many other attempts to create a car, what doesnät need external fuel during the history, and many of them are basing the use of the electric motors. 

Systems what base the difference of pressure or muscle power

One of the most interesting things in electric vehicles is that they can produce their electric power without external fuel. In some cases, there are two chambers in the car, and in another would be the vacuum. If between those chambers is the generator, what is connected to the turbine, and the air or some other material like water or alcohol would float between those chambers, the vehicle can create its own electric power. 

And of course, the vehicle can be equipped with the dynamo, which can be used by similar pedals that are used in the bicycles. The thing is that using gear, the rotating speed of the dynamo would be very high, and that allows creating the electric power, which can use in the small compressor. 

That system needs less power than loading the batteries, and it can be used to create the vacuum to another camber. Then the water floats to another chamber and loads the batteries of the cars. And the driver can change the chambers when another chamber is filled. The thing is that the system can also use the compressor, which is connected straight to pedals. And that kind of system would be quite an interesting thing because it is not addicted to the weather. 

And of course, the car can be equipped with solar panels, lightweight wind generators, and they can load their batteries from the floating water. The thing is that dynamo, what can be used in that kind of operations will be very small, and composite materials would make things like propellers lightweight, and the lightweight materials can also be used in the gearboxes. 

That would revolutionize the driving if that kind of system would someday come to markets. And the thing is that those lightweight materials would make the system very light. But what is the real reason, why we haven't got electric cars before this day? There is no explanation for that, and maybe the reason is that those cars would not seem so pleasant than cars, which are using normal fuel. The explanation is normally that the loading of the battery is taking too long.

There is no need to use nuclear energy in ion motors, the electricity is enough. 

Sometimes we are forgetting the thing, that ion motors, and other electrodynamic rocket motors like rockets, what are used an electric arc to create the thrust would not need actually the nuclear reactors to operate perfectly. When we are thinking about the replacement of the nuclear reactors, we can use the fuel cells to create the electricity for the motor. In fact, the rocket can be hybrid, what operates in the inner solar system by using the solar panel, and turns to use other ways to produce energy, when the sunlight turns too weak and if we are talking first about the electric arc rocket.

The fuel cells or turbo-generators can use hydrogen and oxygen for creating the electricity for electrodes, which is creating an electric arc in the combustion chamber. In the last case, the turbine would install in the route to the combustion chamber, and the exhaust gas, what is water would conduct in the rocket motor, where it will get extra heat from the electric arc. I don't know how practical this rocket will be, and the fuel cells would act more surely because there are no moving parts in this way to produce electricity.

The electric power can be created by using power cells. 

Then the water what is creating in that reaction would conduct in the rocket motor, what will give a very powerful punch. And this kind of fuel cell system can be used in with ion motors. The ion motor is the motor, what uses ions to give the thrust, and in some speculations, this motor would use metal ions, what will drive through the magnetic accelerator. But the ion motor is one of the most capable systems in the world.

That motor can use every ion in the world, for creating the thrust. And also the hydrogen ions can be used in that system, and in fact,  there is nothing matter, if the motor uses positive or negative ions. The system must just turn two electric wires to the opposite way, what would turn the accelerator work in another way, if the ions, what would travel through the accelerator track.

The system needs only the electricity for operating, and that electricity can get from power cells, turbo-generators or solar panels. And that hypothetical spacecraft might use solar panels in the inner solar system, but when the sunlight turns too weak, the system would transform to use fuel cells, as I wrote at the beginning of the text.

The clean fuel might be hydrogen, but it can also be something that would not burn. The hydrogen peroxide can also make steam when it is mixed with water. And the hydrogen peroxide-based Walter propulsion system is actually used in the torpedoes all around the world, and this system is suitable also for steam engines and turbines. So it can be used in the automobiles, aircraft and of course in the submarines, which is not the new idea. During WWII the German Navy built the test submarine, what used the hydrogen peroxide and water in its turbines.

And this submarine, what is known as the "Type V 80" reached the speed of 28 knots, and that was the record of the submarines until U.S Navy's USS Albacore test submarine broke the record. The type XVIII submarines, what were Walter propulsion versions of XXI class submarines were not successful, because the submarine was much bigger than V 80 and then installing the Walter system in that hull was difficult. And after that, the nuclear-powered submarines have increased that record. But USS Albacore has made the record of the non-nuclear submarine in the 1950s, the modern versions diesel-electric and fuel cell using submarines have probably broken that record, but the speed of the most modern submarines is classified.

The far with the drop vehicle is one of the greatest innovation in automobile technology. The idea is simple, the cylinder would fill by using water, and then in the water would pump the bubble what consists the mixture of the air and fuel, and the thing bases the idea, that the bubble would explode in the middle of the water. That explosion would expand the water, and this system would decrease pollution, but it can also decrease the consumption of fuel, and it can operate also by using hydrogen or natural gas. In this case, the combustion motor would burn the fuel inside the cylinder, which has filled also with water. In this motor in the cylinder would first be injected the water, and then the fuel and air mixture would pump in the cylinder.

Another way to make this kind of motor is to use the technology, which is normally used in the hydraulic motors. In this solution, the fuel cells can be used to create high-voltage electricity in the cars. The idea is that in the cylinder of combustion motor is injected the water, and in the water is flashing the electric arc, what will replace the combustion. Basically, this system is similar to the piston steam engine, but the burning is replaced with an electric arc.

There is also created the idea, that every cylinder of the piston engine is surrounded by the separated grates, and the combustion would happen outside the cylinder, which allows the system work as the steam engine. In the combustion chamber would also be injected things like hydrogen peroxide. This system is also known as the "Walter propulsion", and the thing is that this system uses a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water to make the steam, what would rotate the turbines.

This system is used in the torpedoes, but it was also tried to use in German XXI class submarines, and nothing would deny using that system in the cars and aircraft. There was one test submarine, which was known as the Type XVIII, and it was very successful, but then somehow this system was forgotten in history. In fact, the system what creates steam by mixing the hydrogen peroxide and water would be suitable also in the cars, and other motor vehicles and even aircraft can use the same system, what is used in the torpedoes in every day in the most of the navies around the world.

Dematerialization and the changing the climate

When we are talking about the dematerialization as the solution for environmental problems, we must start to think that way, that every time, when we are traveling by using private automobiles, we are creating the carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is the prime actor in the global warming process, and if we want to slow or stop that process, we must stop the production of carbon dioxide.

And one way to make that thing is to start to use Internet connections for traveling to work and back home. The dematerialization of the traveling would mean to benefit virtual conferences and other things for limiting traveling, where is used the transporter. This kind of things that we should transform our physical traveling to virtual reality is a little bit absurd thing, and maybe we would travel between home and workplace by using trains or some other commute transport.

The carbon footprint is the thing, what is the reason for the global temperature rise, and this is the thing, what we all know. How we can decrease the production of carbon? One of the best ideas is to transform to use the hydrogen as the fuel, as I have written many times before. The problem with the climate changing is that we all know about the medicine for that problem.

And the solution is to decrease carbon production in a very fast period. But then we are facing the thing, that we don't know how to decrease the production of the carbon production without willing to change the fuel, what we are using in the power plants and automobiles. But there are some reasons, why we cannot make that change in energy production. The thing is that we want to use hydrocarbons, what is releasing the carbon to the atmosphere. We want to use hydrocarbon because we are always done that, and there would be no alternative for that fuel.

When we are thinking about the clean solutions for energy production, the only possible way to make clean energy is not a wind turbine. The geothermal energy is more stable than the windmill, and the capillary turbine, where the air travels in a vertical way through turbines, would also offer the clean and stable way to create energy by using the wind. The thing is that every way to create clean energy is correct if they are used in the right places.

If the solar power plant would be over the cloud layer, that means the stable sunlight in every day of the year. And if the difference between the highest and lowest tidal is high enough, that would give a very good and stable way to create clean energy. But those ways would not work in the areas, where half of the year is cloudy weather, or the tidal wave is only a couple of centimeters.

When we are talking about wind energy, we must choose the place, where are enough windy days, that those windmills can create energy. Geothermal energy is the easiest to use in volcanic areas. But for creating the pressure for the tube, what conducts the steam or heat water to the turbines is needed to create the hole on the ground by using laser drill, and that hole works as the artificial geyser, what is used for boiling the water.

Also, the normal offshore oil rigs can produce hydrogen by using the turbogenerator, what would break the water molecules by using electrolysis, and this kind of thing can use the same tubes, what the natural gas uses. The production of hydrogen in this way is actually quite a clean process. The thing is that using the oil tube for giving capillary suck to the water, what would conduct through the turbine wheel, what will rotate the generator, which gives power for the electrolyzing process.

But this kind of solution might feel a little bit too radical when we are compiling it with the fusion reactor, where is needed even billions of degrees of Celsius for creating the self-maintaining fusion. Of course, that kind of things is very nice to write in the articles of scientific and popular scientific magazines. Those numbers and technologies are really fascinating, and the records of temperature are interesting to read. And maybe that technology is ready to commercial use after 100 years.

The new kind of modular transport aircraft would be the hybrid

Sometimes there have been discussions about the new kind of modular cargo plane. In that concept, the cargo plane has two parts, the independent cargo modules what might bring in the airfield by train, and then those modules would just load inside the cargo plane, what could be used for the long-range transport. Those cargo modules can be made for cargo, or they can have equipped for passenger modules. In wildest dreams, those modules can flight independently to the long-range cargo plane, and that means that those modules can load in somewhere else.

The idea of the VTOL transport would be the quadcopter type vehicle, what can fly straight in the other aircraft by using the similar hatches what the space shuttle uses. In this concept is the two aircraft. The bigger one what is meant for the fast and long-range transportation and the other vehicles are actually the cabins, what can fly straight in the bigger aircraft. And maybe this thing seems quite complicated but I will write it in here because it seems interesting. By using those modules would the same long-range cargo plane carry either passengers or cargo.

And those VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing)-planes or modules could be made that way, that they can carry also by using railways. This means that this kind of system allows loading passengers or cargo far away from the airport, and then the train will bring those modules near the airport. Then those capsules will fly to the transport plane by using electric motors. And that would be a very radical concept. But as you see this kind of visions are very uncomfortable and difficult to make, but maybe after 20-30 years later they are in everyday use. Or they might be lost in history.

There are a couple of examples of the things that have been very good, but they have just forgotten. And this kind of modular hybrid solution for the next generation cargo and civilian aviation could be too revolutionary. There are many things, which makes this thing safer and cleaner than any automobile, because of all parts of the transportation system are operating with clean energy.

The trains and VTOL-modules can use electricity and how clean the electricity is depended on the way, how the electricity has been produced, and the long-range transporter can use hydrogen as the fuel. Hydrogen is a clean fuel and the thing, what is left behind the hydrogen motor is water steam. This makes it a very suitable fuel in aviation, but why not in turbines of power plants and cars cannot use this fuel, what is environment-friendly.
