Thoughts about the book "Neuromancer".

This is the tale of the ultimate net addiction.The classic book n the cyberpunk sector is the book "Neuromancer", what is handling the thing, what is called the hybridization of the human and Internet. In the book, the heroes would travel in the expanding virtual reality by using the brain core stimulation. This book is the tale of many things and one of them is the ultimate version of net addiction.

What would you think, if your passion centers in the brains would be stimulated for years by using electric stimulation? And that experience is connected with the feelings, that you can fly like a Peter Pan or some kind of superman. or you will be free from the limits of natural laws and select the creature that you want. You can be a man or woman or even a cat or some bird, whatever you want.  Everything happens in virtual reality, what you feel like reality. So that kind of thing would open the new level of the net addiction.

This kind of system is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, and this is the thing, that we must realize when we are creating technology, which allows the embedding of the human mind and computer.   That thing would cause extreme addiction. The thing in that book is that the person cannot even realize when being in the virtual reality called "the matrix".

Sometimes when I read this kind of stuff, I wonder, how those fictional heroes could even realize, that they are awake or what is the border between the virtual and real reality? Sometimes, when I think about this kind of thing, I remember the example case, where the child says that " I saw a dream, that I saw a dream".

I have permission to use that example because I was that child. And I wondered how many layers the dream can have? Can we have multiple internal layers of awareness? If we are thinking the matrix as the multiple layers of the virtual spaces, what is communicating with human brains, we can think also a very interesting thing, to use the matrix as the dangerous tool.

Of course, the matrix is dangerous for its users, because they can just sit or lay at the room, and if they do not realize that they are in virtual reality, they can just die because they don't realize that they must eat or drink. This kind of thing makes this thing more dangerous than people ever thought. If we are thinking the matrix as the mixture of dream and virtual reality we can say one thing.

That thing that can be called a virtual dream would allow us to transfer any memory of the other person to their memory. So in the world of Cyberpunk, that thing would be used as entertainment. But what if we can create a computer, what can be controlled by using brain waves, and then we would go to the Internet for the little virtual trip,.what would we do?

By using virtual reality, we could see things, than we ever thought. If we can navigate the Internet by using our brainwaves and copy the experiences of other people, we can feel total freedom. We can get some experiences from another gender, and that thing might feel interesting. But we can also hack databases and other things more effective.

So in those cases, we can face very dangerous thing, and that thing is that the protective systems can send the killing electric shock to the socket if the unauthorized use is detected. But by using this kind of system, what is connecting the entire humanity to the Internet, we could make the ultimate tool, or ultimate enemy, the decision is the people, who are making this kind of thing.

The question, what if human works under the rule of a computer seem absurd, but then we must realize that there are many support and safe systems, what mission is to advise the leaders. And the question is when the advice would turn to order? If the leader always follows advisors, that thing means that the leader gives the decision to other people or systems. And those things are problematic. The official leader has always the responsibility of decisions. But if some eminence would act in coulisses, that means that decision-makers can avoid the responsibility of decisions.

In some old movies and books has been introduced the idea that human or some humans would be working as servants for computers or artificial intelligence. In that case, we must remember something, which is very common in everyday life. When the director is hired in the firm, or some president would take the place as the leader for the nation, there are lots of advisors for that person.

And those advisors are, or they should be the top specialists, what can be found from the nation. But the role of those people is that they must give advice. But what the leader doesn't listen, and then something would get wrong, but there is also the opposite case, what if the leader would always follow the instructions of the advisor?

That would mean that the advisor would be a real leader in the organization, but in that case, the advisor would work as eminence, that person would make a decision, but others would take responsibility for those decisions. What happens if some leader follows always the advises, what artificial intelligence would give? The thing in artificial intelligence is the reason, why it is made, is that its mission is to collect every kind of data, and support the analysis, what would cost billions.

So what if artificial intelligence would suggest, that the director must kick off a thousand workers, and move the entire corporation to the Far East? The argument for that thing would be that the Far East would bring value for the corporation, and there are lots of customers. And the director just follows that advice. The thing is that artificial intelligence is made for supporting the company and help it, owners, to make money.

What if the director would not follow the instructions, and work against the benefit of the corporation? Here we must realize that the benefit of the big owners of the company could be different than the benefit for workers. And that thing makes the role of artificial intelligence problematic. The role of the director is to be a deputy of the stockholders, and that means that this man must only make a profit for the company.

The artificial intelligence has a mission to control that the will of owners will happen, and when we are thinking about the case, where artificial intelligence turns human to henchmen, the thing, what that system must do is to use subliminal commands, what is simultaneously repeating the words "obey things, what you see on screen" and that message can flash in every screen, what is owned by the corporation. Then artificial intelligence would control every person in the corporation, and make them follow orders. These kinds of things are really interesting, and they open a new type of threat in front of the eyes of the people.

In nanotechnology, the system consists probably billions or particles, which are operating together. Those particles are extremely small, and they must operate together. If we think that human operators must follow every each of those particles, we would be trouble.

The idea of nanomachines is that they are artificial molecules, which are based on the carbon chain, where are connected other atoms like chlorine, iron or silicon. Transferring and forming those molecules happens by using magnetic fields or laser rays. The idea is that those extremely small machines are not making things alone, but there is power in groups.

And the groups of those machines could be even billions of particles, what should put in the right places. And in this kind of actions, the computer is an ultimate tool. The computer can calculate every each laser or another electromagnetic radiation impulse at a certain time, and it can calculate the dose of the radiation in the exactly right level and length.

The thing is that some nanomachines are extremely unstable molecules, where the carbon chain is connected to complicated enzymes or proteins, what is cut off in a certain place and chemical environment. So the system must use exactly the right force when it operates those molecules. The thing in nanomachines is that they must produce in an exactly right chemical environment and temperature.

Also in those chambers, the level of ultraviolet and other radiation must be exactly right. When those machines are transferred to target, the system must transfer them by using exactly the right force. The thing is that nanomachines are entirety, where billions of particles are operating together, and that means that the system must control the whole structure.

When we are thinking about the situation, where nanomachines are used as medical use, like destroying cancer cells or viruses in the human body, the machines can take exactly the right place. The idea is that those machines would make holes in the protein core of those cells, or they will cut the DNA or RNA of viruses.

But if those systems are operating the wrong way, the results could be destructive. Some of those nanotechnical cytostatics are ricin molecules, what mission is to destroy the mitochondria of those cells. And the thing is that only one ricin molecule can kill human if that molecule can destroy the mitochondria in one cell, what starts to die.

So the doctors must control that molecule, and the idea is to create cytostatics, what can neutralize very easily by using things like UV-light, what will cut that molecule in pieces. That light can take in blood veins by using a catheter, what is connected to the optical fiber. The idea is that the nanomachines can search and destroy even the single cancer cells in the human body.

But they can make many other things, like isolate harmful chemicals, and one of the most fascinating areas, where nanomachines can operate is the human nervous system, where those molecules can remove plack from the neurons. That can be a cure for Alzheimer patients. But the problem is that those nanomachines must take in the right place and then they must act the exactly right way. If they operate the wrong way, the destruction would be massive.

Those machines could look like dough wheels, and they can just remove the plack by using mechanic force, but controlling those machines would be very difficult. The idea could be that the nanomachines would be packed in the protein package, what can be the core of emptied bacteria.

After that, they would take to the exact right point, and then those machined can be released, destroying that miniature bag. Then the star or Morgenstern looking molecule, where is the iron bites at the outer layer put to rotate by using magnet field, and that movement would clean those synopses.

When we are looking at artificial intelligence, what finds trashes from the parks, gardens, and streets, we might be glad about that kind of software. That kind of system might call the cleaner to the place if somewhere is garbage. But that kind of system can also look for many other things like pencils, syringes, and oil from the street, and in the case, that somebody has fallen the oil on the ground, the system would tell that thing to officials.

Those artificial intelligence based programs can also look at many things, which are hidden from regular users. That system can see if some person has got the bruises or some other visible marks of the use of narcotics. They can also notice if somebody carries a gun, because of the form of the weapon is very easy to detect if the system can separate the form, what the hidden gun causes to clothes or packages.

This system could also report if there is an increasing level of trashes in some area. If the level of trashes like candy papers and cigarette ends would increase on the street that would tell that something is going wrong in some neighborhood. Or there is moved persons, who just don't care if they throw some trashes on the streets. 

And the people, who have social problems are sometimes persons, who don't care about how much trashes they are making. If the level of trashes would rise, that tells there is somebody, who has social problems in that area. And then the authorities would start to search that person. The artificial intelligence also can detect things like expensive running shoes, and it can compile clothes together.

It tells something about the inmate if that person has branded clothes, but shoes are cheap. And artificial intelligence can detect brand clothes from cheap ones, and the thing is that some combinations would make the report to the officials, and one of those things is the gang uniform, what is used by some gangsters. If that kind of person is talking with wrong people, that thing would automatically be reported to the officials.

Is this just coincidence?

Above this text is the image of Angkor Wat, and the thing is this image looks like an image of the microprocessor, where are two layers. The inner layer would be the thing, what is the working as the standard microprocessor, but at the outer layer would be the circular form of the processor, what communicates with the inner processor, and plays the mirror neuron of the nervous system.

Did somebody drop those papers where was the diagram of the microprocessor and creators of Angkor Wat has been found them? Or are those similarities only coincidence?

But how Angkor Wat can be so similar to modern microprocessors? There is one very interesting thing in those coincidences. And that is "what if the persons, who are created Angkor Wat have found the drawings or paragraphs of the installation of the central processing unit of the microchip. But how this can happen?

Angkor Wat was established a long time before microprocessors, and that means, that the similarities between Angkor Wat and microchip installation might be an only coincidence. But there is another explanation, and it is that some humanoid or time traveler has been dropped those papers, and then the Khmers were found that thing, and copy those forms in their city.

Algorithms are a fascinating thing

I have written about this thing many times before, and the thing is that artificial intelligence and machine learning is very fast advancing tool in the world of computing. In some scenarios, those algorithms would reach so much information that they would become intelligent, and maybe they will someday reach the level of human intelligence.

Many times there would be writings and talking about algorithms, but many people actually don't know anything about this kind so things. So what means algorithm? Many people think that the algorithm is some kind of computer program, but the thing is not like that. Algorithms are actually the computer worms, what are traveling in the world wide web.

They can have the form of the program, but the algorithm can be stored in the files, and they are used to track persons, who are using the computers. When one algorithm is finding the target, it calls other algorithms in it's a place, and those algorithms are looking for things, what people are looking on the screen. They also meter the time, what the user spends by looking at as an example some music videos, and they can also notice if the person makes some text or something else when the music video is running, and that could mean that it will run backward.

The algorithm is actually the code, what will operate in the RAM-memory of the computer, and this thing operates like the worm, what is made by using the program code. The algorithm is actually like macro, what is collecting data in the virtual RAM-disk, and that means that the algorithm is actually the helpful computer virus, what lives in the digital world of the Internet.

Why algorithms are living in the RAM-memory forever

The thing is that there are many computers on the Internet which are always connected to the network, and what has always operated. Algorithms are operating in the operational memory of those computers, and it would not store itself or data to hard disks. Because algorithms are sharing data together, that thing makes them operate like living cells, what is changing the program code together.

And this makes them the tools what are advancing spontaneously. Sometimes philosophers saw a rhetoric problem in that advantage. That problem is that if some algorithm will become intelligent, would that algorithm have human rights? This is a good question because human rights are concerning intelligent individuals, which means other humans. But what if the algorithms would be intelligent, would that code be protected by the laws, and if we somehow destroy it, would we get the punishment about this thing? Those are interesting questions.

The reason for this theory is that when the algorithms are collecting data from the Internet, they will learn spontaneously. And if the mass of collected data is high enough, those algorithms transform intelligent. This transformation would happen because when the algorithm is collecting information it would store the location of this data to the memory, and this happens, because this makes easier to find that information when it is needed again.

Algorithms are storing data in the RAM memory.

And in this case, the algorithms are sharing the information together. That makes possible to store this kind of data in RAM-memory, and that data would not need to write in the hard disks. In the past the computer's RAM memory was cleaned, when the computer was shut down. But in the world of the Internet, there are only a few places on Earth, where is not 24/7 access to some central computers.

That access is vital if the user wants to get data from the net because the root servers are routing the queries to those homepages or other net-based services. This thing means that the data would not be destroyed on the Internet.  This is an interesting question and some philosophers have thought that maybe we would someday move in the computer's memory.

The idea is that the human mind would transform into the algorithm, what will exist in the virtual world of the Internet. In this scenario, the mind would transform in the form of EEG-signals into the just born baby. And if that child would be cloned, that makes the person possible to live forever, and in some cases, there has been introduced an idea that the protected witnesses would be stored on the Internet, and their DNA would be stored in some laboratory. That makes possible to live forever.

Algorithm acts like some worm or gecko, and it can jump from one computer to another, and the thing, what makes it so effective is the Internet. That data word can be in many places in one time, and if the computer, where the algorithm it would shut down, it would send the information about this action to the algorithm, what would jump to another computer. That makes those algorithms able to live forever, in the world of the Internet.

The advantage of the ballistics and ammunition technology have been very fast. The guided ammunition has been come in the rifles, at the first that ammunition came in artillery, but then the same technology transferred to 50 caliber ammunition, and the miniaturization of that technology have been brought the ability to use guided projectiles in the normal assault rifles. It can connect with the intelligent glasses by using Bluetooth, and that means that the shooter can shoot over the angle by using the sharp fire.  The system will notice the angle of the gun, and when the target is seen, it would take the image of that. Then the system would aim the crosshair in the right angle, and then the system would even launch the ammunition. Computerized telescope sights are the new form of the battlefield. But do you know what that thing actually is?

The intelligent sight is actually the miniaturized version of the system, what is used in warships and artillery to aim the cannons in the right angle to the target. That means that the computerized or intelligent sight would move the crosshair in the right location in HUD-display in the scope, that the bullet will hit the target, and in the best versions, the system would get information of the wind speed, air pressure, and humidity.  The system would get that data from the communication system, which normally delivers data for the field operators.

Then the system would get information about the muzzle velocity of the bullets, and that would make it aim the crosshair in the right position. In the intelligent rifles is the computer in the stock and the system can launch the ammunition by using electric arc, which makes possible to use the most precise firepower, what have been ever created. The system would operate with multiple computer programs, and it communicates even with satellites for getting the right parameters for the sharp shoots.

When we are thinking about this kind of technology, we must realize that modern military technology is similar to other technology. That means that when the production methods advance and the electronics will become more effective, the high-tech systems would become the standard equipment of the military. And that kind of things, what has first reserved to the best and most trained operators would also share to normal military personnel.

Robots are not humans

When we are thinking about robots, what are equipped with artificial brains, we might think that this system operates like a human. If we would think the case, that the robot is equipped with the artificial neurons, we must remember that this kind of system is stable. It cannot create new connections between those silicone-carbon neurons, and that means that this system needs some kind of mass memory like flash memory for recording things and creating the databases, what it can benefit for creating the solutions for problems.

And the database is the thing, what makes the intelligence. The idea of intelligence is that thing would connect the stored data together, and then make the new models for the necessary actions. And in the case that the robot would collect data spontaneously by using sensors, that thing might be very dangerous, because that kind of things would cause that the robot would become the thing, what recognizes itself. The thing is that, when we are creating a massive database, we would offer change to create own connections between memory blocks. That process could be similar, is the learning thing robot or human.

Teaching the robot is similar process than teaching child

When we are thinking about the situation, where we are teaching robot for walking, we are facing the thing, that when the robot is recording things, the actions would become more independent in each time, when we are taking this robot out from laboratory for walking. In this kind of scenarios, the artificial intelligence would record the actions, what the controller would do, and the recording would happen in the natural conditions by walking with a robot at the streets.

But that process would also be supported by using computer game type workspace, where the programmer would fix the errors of the actions of the robot. That kind of thing is called hybrid learning. There the simulation supports the learning in the natural environment. This kind of things would be a very effective tool when the robots are learning actions, what are needed in complicated environments, like in cities. That means that when the robot is learning like a child, everything would be recorded, and the programmer must not write every movement to the console.

Why do robots learn chess easier than making sandwiches?

The thing what differences the chess-game from the sandwich is that there are strict regulars in the chess board. The computer must separate only two colors and the forms of the chess buttons. If we will want to create the chess-robot, what needs to operate by using the specific buttons, and that means it will need only the hand, that is equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency ID) sensors. Robot hand and other physical systems can be connected with every chess program, and the system can get the movements of the buttons from the database.

Then it can analyze the movements, and increase its own tactics by comparing the movements of the opponents and making the game simulations against those humans. and the thing is that the bigger database would make that program more intelligent and its knowledge of chess is increasing, which means that it can know more sophisticated tactics against human players. And the growing of databases is calling as a learning process. The big database would involve more game styles and movements, and the computer will connect them together for creating more and more new ways to play against other players.

The key is how to recognize things? 

The RFID system would tell the robot hand, where each button locates, and the thing, what the system must only know is the location of the hand, that it would not move button outside of the chessboard. And that thing can be made by teaching the movement of the hand, and there could also be small transmitters, which will locate the manipulator in the right place. The system can teach by putting the button in the hand, and then the operator would write the name of each button, and the system records the RFID signal, what it compares with the database, where the roles of the buttons have been stored.

But when we are starting to make sandwiches, that robot needs more information from the sensors. In the food cannot install the RFID sensors, and the robot must recognize the materials by using some other sensors. And the problem is that robot must know every single component like mayonnaise, sausages butter and other things like bread. Then it must take the right amount of the things and cut as an example of the sausages for the right size. And every movement and move track must be programmed to the system separately. Of course tools like knives can be RFID-marked, but the food can be recognized with image-id systems. And this makes this kind of thing very difficult for the computers, what are in the best with the limited logical problems like calculations.
