Networks and security of data storage

Networks and security of data storage

Networks are providing many benefits to handle data comparing to traditional methods like USB-sticks. The biggest benefit is that when data is stored in the cloud, that means it is independent of the platform, where it is handled. So in this kind of cases, we must remember, how many USB-sticks we have stolen, and how many times the computer, where the data is stored has damaged?

This is the reason, why the cloud is a really good place for processing data, and that is the thing why companies are investing in those technologies. The computers and other devices, which are used to handle data can be equipped with biometric keys, which gives access to precise data, what is stored in hard disks. When we are making those biometric identifiers we should make them easy to use, like the image, what is taken from the finger. Or rather the things, what are used automatically.

That means that the user of the system might not even know about the biometric identifier. If we think the keys, what are used to log in the computers, they might be things like mobile telephones. If we will make mobile telephone safe key, we might make a system, what has two modes. If the person just opens the mobile telephone, that thing would act like a normal cell phone. But when a person wants to use it as an electronic key, that might need to boot it, and during the startup, the person might need to give the biometric identifier. That would activate the role as the key.

And in a perfect system, the renew of this action should be done often enough, that the system would be safe. That means the cell phone can use by everybody, but only one person might use it as key to the system. And of course, if a person is under threat the snapping secret SOS over the biometric identifier might tell that person is in trouble. If the wrong person uses a telephone, the information of that would send to security personnel, and they might locate the phone very easily.

The thing is that biometric systems are easy to use, and they can collect many types of data. One thing is that the precise information about the areas, what biometric system uses for recognize person might not be mentioned. So the thing is that the mobile telephones, which are used to send the log-in request might have hidden biometric key, what detects if the wrong person tries to use the system. In some cases, the web-camera, what is used for face recognition might use the image of eyes for recognizing the user, and that thing might not be told to the users.

Or the mobile telephone, what is used to recognize the users, is connected to face or retina recognizer, what might be the normal web camera, and that system detects are the person, who attempts to log in the system, and user of the mobile telephone the same. In this case, there are two keys, which are comparing together. So in those cases, the maker of data security protocols has noticed, that some person can lose the mobile telephones.

In the real-life, there is another thing, what the maker of the log-in protocol must realize, is that there is a possibility, that somebody might be forced to let people access to the system. This means that in those cases there must be something to give for those people. The thing is that the system might have a backup protocol for the cases, where somebody is asked log-in for computers, which are used by some other people, and that thing might cause grey hair for the spies.

The thing is that if a person uses only passwords or tries to log in otherwise wring way, that system can lead the person to wring network segment. That network segment might contain information, what is equipped with a tracking cookie. And the mission of this system is to uncover the hackers, who might attempt to steal data.

Problems with pocket-size mobile command systems

Problems with pocket-size mobile command systems

The hero of our time "man in the suit"

When we are thinking about the modern version of the national hero, we might think the man, who wears a black suit and slips. This man has replaced generals and other uniform users in the hardcore national security situations. This modern hero just takes the mobile telephone from the pocket, if the national security is in danger, and then this hero activates the mobile software, and after that this cell phone turns to command equipment.

The tablets are actually the same with mobile telephones, and that means that also pocket-size versions of the same mobile tools, what are used in the tablets. This means that the cell-phones can be used in the same role with those tablets, and this allows the operators to just sit on the bar, and use the same battle-control equipment what the men are using in the field, but this makes that person stealth, and that makes them bad targets to the enemy military.

By using this tool the head of the national security would order military forces, and if the threat would not surrender immediately that man or woman would take the cell phone from the pocket, and use the secret sign or by using voice and face recognition. After that 100 combat drones would immediately attack to that position. This is the vision of the future of the command systems.

Every command tool can miniaturize as the pocket size.

The mobile telephone can be used to command military systems as well as some laptop computer. And the laptops are similar things, with the table model computers, but they are portable. That means that those systems can be used in the moving vehicles, and the personnel, what uses this kind of tools can make their command center anywhere they want.

This is the modern version of mobile command platform, but today the mobile telephones can be used in any bar, and those command tools would load to those pocket-size systems. This makes the command systems even more flexible than they have been. Those mobile tools can communicate with supercomputers by using encrypting telecommunication networks, which makes very hard to locate those people from the streets.

And mobile tools are making everything very flexible. In some scenarios, the agents would take some drones inside some house. Those very small drones would have a small gun as Derringer installed under them. Then that small quadcopter would communicate with command center by using satellite communication, which allows that the system can be controlled from some command center, or the hitman can stand in the line, and just takes the mobile telephone from the pocket. This system allows controlling those drones from the other side of Earth by sitting in the toilet. This is the thing, what the pocket size multi-mission tool is in use.

Collecting data and making profiles of users are easier than ever before.

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Mobile payments and smart lock systems of the mobile telephones are really nice things, which can make payments safer, than ever before. And they can also collect information of the user by a more effective way, than ever before. That software can tell the surveillance operator when the targeted person is near the home and also it can collect information about the merchandise, what is bought from shops.

That information would tell precisely, what the user of the telephone is buying from the shops, and if that person would get some medicines from the pharmacy, that thing would tell also the medicals and another kind of things to the owner of the service, and even the person uses cash for the payments, would the system collect the details of the shopping. The system might use the NFC-antenna of the mobile telephone, and then it can combine the information, what the security devices collect from the RFID-sensors.

The security gate of the shops would scan the data from the RFID sensors when the products are carrying through it, and send that information straight to the mobile telephones NFC-antenna, what will send that data to the surveillance operators. By connecting that data to the mobile telephone, those persons can make a very sharp profile of the persons, who they are searching.

When we are thinking about the surveillance software like Firewire, that software can also make possible to use NFC without a person sees anything in the screen. When we are thinking about the interface of smartphones, those switches, what are controlling the NFC and other things are only the images on the screen, and even if the image is moved to the position "off" would that NFC be on in the real life. And the thing is that the telephones can send information is the NFC "off" or "on"  to the surveillance operators.

The Firewire might allow that the security gates, what have right software would allow using the NFC or data transfer without the user of the telephone even notices that thing. But this kind of systems would make payments easier and safer. This is the thing in the point of view of banks and normal users of the payment solutions. The GPS system and fingerprint detectors can allow that if another person than the registered user of the mobile telephone touches or even move telephone, would the information of that action send to the security personnel.

And the fingerprints of the user can compile with the fingerprints, what are taken from the crime scenes. This would be made easier to track criminals from society, and this might make the robberies less attractive for the street bandits. That equipment can scan also fingerprints of the robberies, and that makes easier to catch them.
