How to return to life from long-term cryogenic sleep?

How to return to life from long-term cryogenic sleep?

One very interesting thought about the extreme long-term spaceflight and hibernation is that the chemical narcosis would damage the nervous system. Or there is the possibility to use things like hypothermia or freezing the body to near the zero degrees kelvin, where the waking process would be very slow.

During the sleep, the patient or astronaut, how we could call that person would the blood or lots of parts of the blood replaced by using the salt brine or rather PFC- (Poly Fluoride Carbonate), what can circle in the body, while the person is waking up in the artificial coma. The system would guarantee that there is no damage in the blood veins, even the astronaut is ice bite.

If we would connect astronauts to the heart-lung machine, where is the PCF combination, the heart can be stopped until the body is warm enough, and then the heart would put back to operate. That would eliminate or make the possibility of the brain damage a minimum.

The critical moment would be the case when the body is in the border of the frozen and elastic. The part of the cells would be the ice bites, and some have been returned to elastic, which means that this is the critical moment for the brains, and there is the greatest risk for the neural damage.

So if the veins would be filled with highly oxygenize liquid, what stands in liquid form at very low temperature, that means that the tissues would get oxygen, and they would not be damaged. This system would be the heart-lung machine that would recycle the oxygenize in the body. And the heart would start when the body is warm enough.

But it's possible to raise the temperature very slowly like half degrees per week, or the artificial intelligence can search the cells of the astronaut, and adjust the warming process that way, that there are no damages in the cells, while the body is warming. And then the cells would get back elastic, the system would start the stimulus, and then the functions of life would return. In this version, the system must notice, that the cells inside the body would be frozen when the outer cells would turn elastic.

So how we could answer that kind of problem? The solution would be that the oxygenized blood or other liquid, which might have very much oxygen would recycle through the body while the patient is still in the coma, and then the system would guarantee, that there would be no neural damage.

One very interesting question is, what if we would store every single cell of the astronaut separately?

There is one very interesting solution for the long term sleep, and that thing is to use nanotechnology for storing the astronaut. The nanomachines or miniaturized robots would take every single cell of the astronaut in the chamber, where those cells can wait separately, and when the time has come, the nanomachines would put the cells back to the right places. But nanotechnology must be advanced in very big steps if we would make this thing. This would need a very big advantage in that technology. But it's nice that we have imagination. And this is only the thinking about the cryogenics, practical solutions would be somewhere in the future.

The mystery of sleep

The mystery of sleep

This writing is thinking about dreams and sleep. Are those things really "only" mean handling the problems, what we are facing every time? Or is there some other mean for this mystery, what we are facing day after day during our life. Sleep and dreams are an everyday thing, which has a big role in human life, and this is why it fascinates philosophers and scientists.

Why we need sleep is one of the most interesting questions in history, and somebody has explained that the simple answer would be that the level of certain neurotransmitters would get low. When we are thinking of sleep and dreams and its connection with hallucinations, some people have thought that when a person is awake, there is some hormone, that acts as a clock.

And when the level of that hormone is low, the person must go to sleep, and sleep is like loading the batteries or storages of that hormone, but the thing that is called dreams is not a thing, which can be explained in that way. The thing is that dreams have been explained as the situation or condition, where human would use entire brain capacity, what is released because the memory and senses are not operating during dreams.

One of the best arguments of those people claims is the founding of the form of the benzene molecule, and we know that after a traumatic situation like fight person would go home and sleep, and the reason for that would be that brains would analyze things, what is happening during the day. And that would be a very good explanation for dreams. The dreams could simply release all the brain capacity for making the solutions for problems. But there are many other explanations.

One is that when people are awake, the loaded storage of the neurotransmitters would decrease, and the person would slip to the sleep. That thing could explain the hallucination. In that theory in the human body are two types of neurotransmitters, the neurotransmitters what would use in the daytime or when a person is awake, and the neurotransmitters, what are used while the person is in sleep. When we are thinking about sleep, some philosophers have introduced an idea that in the same body lives two spirits.

The spirit, what is controlling the body during the daytime, and the spirit that will control the body while sleeping, and those spirits would be like day and night. The most brilliant mind has the darkest followers. And when we are thinking deeper this philosophical idea, we must realize that the model of that theory is forming, because we are taking very big freedoms in our dreams, and make things, what we ever do in the daytime.

So are dreams made for giving us therapy? The place in our mind, where we can handle the most difficult things, what we can imagine. But when we are thinking about dreams and hallucinations, we can think, that the creature of the day must step away from the creature of the night. And when we have slept long enough, the sleep would push that creature away from our mind.

Last I must mention one interesting thought, what I have seen on the Internet. That writing was explained dreams and sleep, that pineal gland in our brains would receive some kind of radiation during our daytime, and while we are sleeping that organ connects itself to our memory. "Radiation" would mean in this case the impulses, what are coming from our senses.

There is another strange explanation for dreams, which are connected to the pineal gland. In this theory, the pineal gland must make contact with some other thing, what is in some other universe or dimension. This thought is taken from some shamans, who are explained that human being or the mind of a human is connected to the duplicate, what is in some other dimension. So in this theory, what origin I don't remember every one of us might have a duplicate in some other universe or dimension, and after a certain time, we must bargain with that spirit. And this would be the connection of the spiritual world, what might call as "other universe" or " other dimension".

The mysterious "sleep experiment"

The mysterious "sleep experiment"

When we are looking at a history of human experiments, we are facing the dark and mysterious tale about Stalin's death camp experiment, what is called the "sleep experiment". The experiment is claimed to be the surgical test, where the brain areas, what is controlling sleep and dream were damaged.

But the images, what are claimed to be from that test seems to take from the immune experiments, where the entire body of the victim is destroyed because of infections. I don't know were those doctors, who were worked under the control of Academician Ivan Ivanov, the man who transplanted the head of the animals in another body have the knowledge, where the sleep controlling areas of the human brains will be located. That means that the brains might not be damaged in that test. The idea of "sleep experiment" was that the person was kept awake until the neurotransmitters in the human brains would be ended.

Or in fact, the idea was to usher a person to the condition, where sleep and wake would be the same, and then the people would use the sleep in that condition. The idea was simple, the human being is in the most productive and innovative condition while sleeping, but the problem with sleep is that the memory is cut off, and people cannot remember things, what they have seen while sleeping.

So, the Soviet researchers were planned to connect the memory to the dreams by keeping the persons awake long enough, that the sleep and awake would be connected and that would release the innovation capacity of the brains to the practical use of the Soviet state. And the researchers might use caffeine and amphetamine for keeping people awake.

Also, the sleep control areas of the brains would be stimulated by using radio waves and electric shocks. The idea was to make the memory marks in the brains stronger and allows people to remember things better. The thing, why police and intelligence officials would be interested in this kind of research is that there is a possibility, that the foreign actor will kidnap the operator, and pump the information out from that person by using some chemicals and at the same time block the forming of the memory mark in the brains by using some kind of chemicals. This is why those "lost memory marks" are interested the military intelligence. And the money would be put in that kind of research.

Sleep and innovation

Sleep and innovation

One of the most remarkable things in human behavior is that we are in the most productive condition just before we are waking. And that means that most of the innovations, what people get are coming to the mind just before we are waking up, and then those thoughts just disappear, because the memory mark in the mind would be covered by other things. This is quite a sad thing because we might guess, how many innovations have been lost because we just lost those memories?

When we are thinking the most effective way to remember innovations, we might use the paper, and write the thought about the innovations or ideas, what will come in our mind to that paper. But the thing is that we would face the reality, that we would often forget that thing. The purpose of dreams is to modify the data, what is collected to the more understandable form.

During the sleep, the memory disconnects and releases the entire brain capacity for the innovation process. But the problem is that "how we could remember that innovative idea, what we have got?".  The innovation is a remarkable thing, and this thing has been caused that many researchers are investigating dreams.

And the thing is that the case when Friedrich August Kekulé von Stradonitz  (1829-1896) claimed that he saw the snake what bite its tail in the fire, and that thing told Kekulé that the form of the Benzene molecule was ring caused that people were started to think more about dreams. The truth is that Kekulé couldn't see the form of the Benzene molecule by using the technology of the 19th century and this thing is a really remarkable thing.

So if we are thinking about innovation, we should make some kind of solutions, which allows people to remember those innovations. Sometimes there was given an idea, that to the brains of humans would conduct the radio waves during the sleep, and that thing would allow strengthening the electric signals in the nervous system. This has been hoped to make a better and stronger mark in the memory of the people. Also, sodium pentothal has been used in this kind of research.
