How to get scientific evidence about some things?
The headline of this text could be "why should I read the text before I give comment for something"?. This is one of the biggest things, what people should think when they are writing something. And the thing, what they should think about things is that there is a difference between opinions and scientific truth. We might think and believe in something, but we don't have evidence about this object, what we want to believe, and this makes sometimes very difficult to think and write about some things, what we are thinking as the thing, what is called the "truth".
When we are thinking about the truth, we always find people, who are playing some great role in the mind of some people, and that's why we want to give support for their thoughts and support their position. And in this case, I will use the example, that some very big business director believes in the "flat earth theory". Here I must say that believing is proven if that director has membership in the expensive club, what is mentioned as the "flat earth" society, and the purpose of the club is to prove that earth is flat.
This is, of course, so-called pseudoscience and the reason, why I took this question for handling in this text, is that there are many people, who want to please the big bosses. And what if this big boss offers a good job for the first ten persons, who would underwrite some list, where they confess, that they are supporting this kind of ideology. This is the thing, what somebody else would want to use against them in the court of law. Even if we would want that job, we cannot fight against the scientifically proven truth.
Of course, we always can say, that "wise men" have been underwriting that paper, and the reason for underwriting is that they would get the job. But the fact is that the Earth is a ball. or by the way, the Earth is not a ball. It looks like a little bit the pear, but if we want to prove that thing, we must make very sharp measurements, and in fact the Explorer I spacecraft or satellite uncovered that thing. This is the thing, what is called "extremely precise", what is not needed in the normal life. Why the form of the Earth is important? Who needs to know a couple of meters anomalies.
That thing is very important in the satellite navigation system, which needs the extremely sharp clock to define the position of the satellite. Those systems need information about the altitude of the satellite because adjusting the clock in the satellite needs very sharp information about the distance of the navigation-satellite and ground station. The thing is very easy to do, the ground station would send the time signal to a satellite, where it is compared with the time of the satellites own clock.
And the difference between those time marks is the thing, what must be fixed. The satellites need the clock to determine the position and distance together and being sharp that system needs to know exactly, where the ground station is. This kind of systems are very complicated, and the ground stations send the location signals to satellites all the time, but the problem is to determine the precise location of the ground station.
The reason, why the clocks must adjust in simultaneous is that the gravity of Earth is slowing time, and there are differences between the clocks of the ground stations and satellites. And this proved that Einstein's theory of the time slowing because of gravity is true. But this causes problems for the measuring, where is needed the extreme precision.
