The deepest hole on Earth
The thing that the drill would not able to operate in the 180 degrees Celsius is sometimes wondering me because the blades of the drill would not stand the temperature of 180-300 Celsius. Those blades are made by using Chromium steel, and the thing is that those materials would not melt at a very low temperature. The melting point of the chromium is 1800 degrees Celsius, and the thing, what happened might be that the hydraulic oil or lubricant would be steamed or started to burn.
By using the laser drill is possible to create even deeper holes, and the laser drill is actually the laser, what is used to make a hole to the Earth. The idea of those super deep holes is that scientists tried to drill the hole straight to magma, and sometimes there was introduce thoughts that there is possible to make the probe, what travels inside the nucleus of the Earth. There have been introduced the plans, what kind of vehicle could be the probe, what can be sent to magma.
The craft, what would send inside the magma would be an absolutely round artificial diamond ball, what will communicate with command center by using the sonar and LRAD system. The thing what would be the most important in those crafts is, that the ball must be absolutely symmetric because it must resist the extreme heat and temperature. The craft, what could be made by the artificial diamond, what would be the carbon fiber, that made tougher by pressing it with explosives. The carbon fiber would be protected by the iron, and that would isolate it from magma. The probe can use nanotechnology and it can be the size of the ping pong ball or even smaller.
The system might have two layers, and there would be a vacuum between those layers. In the simple model, the inner ball would hang to the outer ball by using metal wires. The magnets would keep the inner ball separated from the outer ball, and that could make possible to create the craft, what can dive in the nucleus of the Earth by using the electromagnetic drive, what can take the needed energy from the heat of the magma. But of course, this thing is only a theoretical way to travel in magma.
