The modular body structure of aircraft is one thing, what will make a revolution in the aircraft design
The NASA interest with a new type of passenger plane is very interesting, but in fact, there are more advantages than some fuel and motor systems. One of the most interesting advantage in the things, what is not visible from the outside is the thing, what is called "modular body solution", that means that the seats and other things in the fuselage are actually in the cassette, what can be changed to another in minutes. This means that the passenger plane can rapidly change to the cargo plane. And in fact, if the cassette or chamber can be changed from the downside of the aircraft, there is possible to transform the aircraft from the passenger plane and cargo plane for the bomber in minutes.
And this kind of solutions base the idea, that the same body can be used in many missions and it can be flexible for passenger, cargo bombing, recon and patrol, and in fact, the forces like paratroopers can carry from another side of the Atlantic by using very fast transportation aircraft and sometimes have been asked why those cargo planes would not have the possibility to bo carry also bombs, what means that they can sweep dropping area by themselves.
One of the most interesting solutions for the aircraft design, is the thing what is called as a modular body structure would allow using the same body of the aircraft in many missions, and if we are thinking that the aircraft would get the speed about Mach 0,89, we must remember that there could be also the models or plans, what are not public. The thing about this kind of solution is that the aircraft would be equipped with the oxygenizing tanks, what is filled with oxygen. That means that the aircraft can rise extremely high altitude or even the orbital trajectory.
The idea is that the aircraft would rise above the thick atmosphere and in the extremely high altitudes the system would travel in very high speed, and the thing is that those aircraft would rise so high, that the motors cannot get air. In those very high altitudes in the motors would inject the oxygen from a tank and the engine inlet will be closed by hatches, what makes the motor act as rocket, what uses internal fuel.
The mission of those hatches is that they will deny the exhaust gas leak to forward because that would make fly slower. In turbine motors, this could mean, that there are the hatches in the two points of motors. The outer hatch would close the engine inlet face, and the second one would close the afterburner, which makes possible to use the normal turbine motor as a rocket.
But using this system with RAMJETS and SCRAMJETS, would the system acts that way it would change the motor system automatically depending on the flight altitude and how thick the atmosphere is. If the aircraft would rise too high, the jet engine would not get enough air, the oxygen injection will start to the combustion chamber. And this allows that plane to operates in the various altitudes and even in the orbital trajectory.
