What means the caseless cartridge?

The computer base-launching systems can install electric cannons like the famous M-61 Vulcan (1). In this case in the middle of rotating tubes would mount a camera, which is connected to the image identifier. When the computer would see the hostile target, the electric cannon opens the fire. Removing the spool is the thing, that causes the problem because ammunition is in a row at the tubes. But the answer to the problem of how to remove the spoon might be using the stoned gunpowder. In this case, the ammunition would load at the front of the hardened gunpowder. This denies the need for spools in the cartridge.

Another and the more conventional solution would be using the paper cartridge, which would turn ash when the gunpowder is burning. So in this case the metal storm doesn't need to remove used shells what makes it easier to use.
