The new pilotless F-16 is ready for the challenge, and that means that there are more killer-robots in the skies. The robot fighter is a similar autonomous vehicle like other similar robots. The full-size UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles) can be the tools that can operate independently but they can also operate as "wingmen" to human pilots.  There are two ways to create the platform for the new multipurpose but same time complicated artificial intelligence base programs. 

The first way to make the solution is to create a network-based solution, where the multiple platforms in the drone swarm are operating together. And another way is to outsource the computing to data centers, which might be on another side of the Earth. This is the thing, what makes the quantum computer one of the most capable and the same time dangerous tool in computing. 

The power and speed of the quantum computer are enough to drive the most complicated and heaviest artificial intelligence programs. So the quantum computer would also operate the complicated control programs of the robot aircraft, which makes them an extreme tool in a combat zone. The quantum computer can control the combat drone by using the data links, and in this model, the remote pilot is replaced with artificial intelligence, which runs on the high powerful quantum computer. 

In this version, the drone is remote operated, but the remote operator is another computer. The joystick, what is used in the drone control is easy to replace by the supercomputer. By using the data storage of the regular or human fighter pilots the operators can create the tactics for that system. Those data storage can collect from the simulations and real missions by the operators, who are creating new tactics for those independently operating aircraft. 

The thing is that if the human operator is replaced with the quantum computer, that thing makes the revolution in combat drone technology, but that revolution is a big threat. The reason why military forces or their contractors are creating artificial intelligence operating drones is the recruitment problems of the air force and military. The problem is what if the hackers will hit the system and take those drones under control. 

The planners of the equipment believe that controlling the drones is easier than control the people. And when the wheel is starting to roll, the other countries like Russia, the People's Republic of China, and India are starting their drone programs. The problem with drones is that they are always obeying their superiorities. If weapons are given to the hands of robots, that means that the training and weapons must not give to the hands of human soldiers. And that thing decreases the risk of the rebellion of the unsatisfied army.
