The thing is that there is no limit for the size of those soft-core robots, and by using multiple control what would adjust the form of those robots, there is a possibility to create the entirety, what size is like the supertanker.

Those robots can clean chemicals from large areas. They might have "bags" inside the silicon layer, and when that robot layer would cover the area, it can expand those bags, and suck the chemicals inside it.
