The food-independent city


In some visions, the cities of tomorrow are covered with bubbles, which are making them comfortable and ecological places to live. The idea of Mega-Cities or megapolis is that the city itself would produce everything, that people needs. The raw material and food are produced in plantations that are hanging on the roofs and walls. So they are like the Hanging Gardens in Babylon. The raw materials like cotton and other things can produce inside the city area, and the reason for that thing is that when the food is coming from near the pollution will be minimized, and the entire city can be in a bubble where the temperature is stable around the year. 

The purpose of the bubble is to make the city comfortable and also clean the air. The pollution removed from the air intake and outgoing air, and that thing makes that kind of city very ecological. And the electricity will produce by using clean energy. The megapolis will be a stable biosphere, but as we see the problem is that this kind of place can use wrong. The leaders can take the entire city under the control by using electromagnetic brainwashing, which would be a "non-violent" method to remove violence from society. 




Megapolis and flying cars


In the visions of megapolis, there are things like flying cars. The reason why we have not that kind of vehicle is that the safety of those systems is poor, and the power sources are not enough. There could be a maser-system that transmits the electric power to the electric systems of those vehicles in the cities of tomorrow. That electricity would use to rotate the blowers. But what if we will turn every street into a magnet, what would make the car levitate above them? 

The flying car will levitate over the magnetic track, which is similar to magnetic trains. The main magnets of the track are moving the vehicle forward. Other magnets will push vehicles from all sides. That thing will keep the flying cars on the track. This kind of system would allow that those devices are moving at extremely high speed. But the problem is that it requires a brand new infrastructure. 

But in some very advanced models, the flying cars would also have magnetic superhighways, where the levitating car is flying between the powerful magnets. And that system would transfer them like particle accelerators from one place to another. In that model, the roads are magnetic layers that are pushing the cars above the ground, and the magnetic levitation allows that the system would be silent but very fast. 

In the last model, the car doesn't have internal power systems at all, and the automatized system will transfer the device from one place to another. If there are some problems, the electricity will cut from the part of the road.
