Why religion is always so non-tolerant?

Prologue:

Why religion, what suppose to be the thing, what offers stability and peace is causing so much bloodshed? There is one answer for that thing and that is the Catholic church has been captured, and the pope was changed to the person, who used the church supporting that person's purposes.

Then we can ask why we have a religion? The difference between religion and philosophy is very thin. The religion is always offering one answer to the question "what is the purpose of life"? The answer is to live "a good life", and then there is one thing, what people are forgetting, and the question, what they should ask is "what means a good life"?

Who is the thing, who benefit from religion?

What is the purpose of life? Is it serve god, and if we are serving God, we must ask, who else we serve at the same time? So if we even don't try to explain what are God and God's will, we might forget to ask, does the King of the nation just transmit the will of God?

This is one of the biggest questions, that is ever introduced. The need to understand the purpose of existence has sometimes introduced to serve God, but then somebody has asked, does God live in some castle, and why that person would not stop evilness on Earth? For some people, God is the thing, that we should not even try to explain, but otherwise, if the purpose of life is to serve God, where the orders for that thing are coming, and who tells us, how to make that thing?

When we are thinking about the religious leaders, and every other leader, who says that they are "clean", away from the dirt of regular people, that means that giving orders to make things, what are against peaceful people like begin the holy war would be more tolerant than being participant of the field operations. So the person who gives orders to people is above morally and ethically because other people are executing orders, what that person is giving.

That kind of question is difficult, because if the person believes that God is in the side of own army in the mind of some people that justifies everything, what that person does. This kind of way to think is always very dangerous because that justifies the extreme violence.

The answer to the classic question is always depending on the person who answers. If I'm a religious leader the answer would be that we should serve God, and if I'm some leader of Ancient Greece, I could say, that we even should not have to change our position in our society. It's God's will that we have some level in the social pyramid. And the same opinion would have people like Pericles, but if I would be in the lower level of the social pyramid in the position of a slave, I would not agree with the opinions of the leader of the state.

But sometimes we are asking about the philosopher's opinion about that question, what is the purpose of life? That person answers "looking for the truth", but the answer is really interesting because those people would not describe what means the word "truth". The thing is that populists and "wannabe" dictators have always easy solutions for everything. And the use of own brains is always prohibited in the cases because everything is already explained and proven if that thing is supporting our way to see things.
