Why we are interesting about the age of the universe?
If the weight of the particle what caused the Big Bang and the universe has a difference, that tells that material has gone somewhere.
The age of the universe interests cosmologists very much. The reason is that the measurement of the age of the universe and comparing it with the calculations might answer the question: "Are there some other universes"? The idea of the research is that all material and energy in our universe are forming in Big Bang. So if scientists can calculate the age of the universe, they can make calculations, how much radiation and how dense it is.
And if there is some kind of anomalies or differences between the real radiation and the predicted radiation. That thing can tell that the material is coming from somewhere. The size and form of the universe tell the point, where the Big Bang has happened. The calculations of the size of the universe, the density of the material, and the weight of the universe can answer the second question, are tachyons real or not.
When the universe is expanding that means that the energy and material should become less dense. If the density of the material is stable in the universe what expands, that means that somewhere outside the universe comes material filling the vacuum.
If we know the magnitude of the Big Bang, we can compare it with the mass of the universe. All radiation particles and other materials are coming from the Big Bang. And they are forming the weight of the universe. All radiation and particles are closed in the universe, what weight should be the same with the particle, what caused Big Bang, but if there is a difference the material has been gone somewhere. That is outside of the universe.
The expanding universe means that the size of the ball, what we are calling the universe is expanding. That means that the density of particles and energy becomes lower if there is no new material in the universe. But if the density of material and energy is the same all the time. That means there is someplace, where the new material is coming from. This is the reason, why researchers are interested in the age of the universe.
