Medusa-robot could turn a person's stone by covering the body by using diatoms. If the Medusa would spit the diatoms, the organisms that have the silicon layer on the person, what thing turn that individual looking like stone. That kind of system is futuristic, but the spacecraft can install the system, which acts like this hypothetical robot. In the case of an accident the "Medusa"-robot would cover astronauts by using diatoms.

So if the diatoms are covering the human, that thing would turn the target to stone. And if we want to make the long-term spaceflight or just disappear, that thing means that the diatoms could be used to cover the body. And they can feed the traveler, which is connected to the main computer of the spacecraft by using EEG-machine, and that thing makes possible that person, who seems to stoned can communicate the craft and also operate the auxiliary robots. That kind of thing might be the next-generation systems.
