Kratos XQ-58 "Valkyrie"
As we know the sad thing is that artificial intelligence has the dark side.
Independently operated robot-jet has been obliterated piloted jet fighter in the simulated air combat, and this means that the artificial intelligence controlled jet-fighters are reality. The creator of this artificial intelligence and DARPA might want to set the artificial intelligence to operate F-22 and F-36 jet fighters, which makes those systems more deadly.
So in this case the artificial intelligence can operate also full-size and full-capable military systems like aircraft, but also surface warships, submarines, and tanks are good platforms to operate by artificial intelligence. The independently operating low-cost machines are multi-function tools, which can operate on the airborne, surface, underwater, and the orbital environment. By using modern technology those things are easy to make.
The thing is that those computerized attack systems don't feel fear makes those drones better killers than humans is that they ever withdraw from the mission, even if the damages of the plane are devastating. Robot fighters can also make tight maneuvers where the G-forces are crushing human pilots. Robot fighters are already in use as the RPV (Remotely Piloted Vehicle), and those intensively controlled systems use the secured digital data links.
But the automatization of those systems is advancing. The image-recognization systems are giving them the ability to open fire against every hostile target that has been given to drones. The thing is that ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) can shoot a single person from the street if it uses modern military technology.
The drone or armed quadcopter can shoot to target area from the other side of the ocean by using a strategic missile, and then that thing can shoot the targeted person by using the pistol or rifle, which is installed on the quadcopter. The quadcopter can be closed to the heat shield that allows it to return to the atmosphere, and that system can be operated by using the satellite communication system.
Also, quadcopters can deliver to the area and they can search the places of missile silos. Then those quadcopters are telling the location of the missiles to satellites that can send the target data to attack jets, or they can slip in the silo. Or when the hatches are open and detonate the thermobaric explosive in the next to that missile.
And the independently operating versions might be now in the assembly line. The cloud-basing solutions, which are offering those systems share the information allows them to connect their computers, which makes the groups of the drones working like one great entirety. Independently operating drone swarms are using for testing the large entireties, were orbital satellites, ground-operating, and air- and seaborne systems are connected to one entirety.
Those systems do not require the life-support systems, and they can also launch to the orbital trajectory. When the order is given, those drones can attack the enemy immediately.
Those UCAV-drones are basing the combination of the same technologies that are used in X-37B miniature shuttles and X-47 UCAVs. If those drones or UCAVs:s are using a nuclear reactor they can operate virtually unlimited time, and the only thing, that would stop them is the damage in the engines.
The automatized attack vehicle can be parked to the orbital trajectory, and when the order is given that thing can start to glide against targets. They can be missiles themselves, but those systems would also be like attack aircraft, which are starting to attack against both aerial and ground targets by using regular- or electromagnetic weapons, like high-power microwaves. Those systems are highly independent, sophisticated but also one of the most frightening things in the military. But when we are thinking about war, we must realize that the war is not fair game.
