Tunneling robots can make tunnels, but they can make many other things, and this is the writing, what other things tunneling robots can make. Tunneling robots or tunnel-making robots are man-made robot worms, which can take samples from the deep underground. 

They can also search for minerals and they can make many other things. Those robots can send to the other planets or asteroids for searching the hemisphere of those objects like Europa moon of the planet Jupiter. 

Tunneling robots can make tunnels in the icy core of that moon, and also dive in the ocean. So those worm robots are multipurpose tools for many purposes.  But the worm robots and worm craft, what are manned versions of those robots are also excellent tools for things like military intelligence. The size of the tunneling robots is not necessary very big. Their size can be from a couple of centimeters to hundreds of meters. 

And their power sources can be power cells or nuclear engines. But if that system operates deep enough it can benefit the geothermal energy. The last one offers them unlimited operational range. 

The aircraft can drop tunneling robots to the operational area, or they can be released from the submarines or ballistic missiles. Also, things like trucks can take those things near the target. 

Those systems can dig themselves to the wall of the secret underground bases, and they can drill holes in the walls of those bunkers, and put the camera and microphone inside that building. In some visions, those worm robots are equipped with the conventional or nuclear explosive, and they can slip near the underground bunker. Then those systems can detonate themselves, which makes them the most advanced weapons on the Earth.
