What is the purpose of the table where persecuted eats in the Holy Bible?
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies (Psalm: 23) is one of the most interesting quotes of the Holy Bible. So what this might mean? The thing is that the enemies of the person are waiting, that the hunted individual would want to hide them. The hunters would not wait that the persecuted person would live a normal life, and go to work normally. But there is another thing that that thing might mean, and this makes the Holy Bible one of the most incredible books in history.
That thig is that what if the enemies would normally eat the soup, what meant they were equal. The origin of this tale might be in the story, where Spartans ordered the chef of the enemy army to make the food for them. Then the chef made very good food for officers, who went to take the simple soup.
But was the table that was made for officers hidden out of eyes of the henchmen? The truth is that there is always brick between superior and henchmen, and if the only one person will get something, that thing is that this kind of goods would go the top of the pyramids, what is the model of the hierarchic societies, what military forces are. And if only one person gets something, that is the person is the king.
Or did that chef just poisoned the soup and entire army by that soup? Or was the poisoning that this kind of questions caused the brick between leaders and men. Sometimes Persians might tell the version of that tale that officers just threw the soup away. And that thing cased the hate in the mind of regular warriors. The thing is that even the best leader needs an army to accomplish its mission.
What if there is the table in the middle of the desert, where are beef and chips. In this scenario, the chips and beef would be enough only the couple of men in the group, so who will go to that table and eat that kind of meal. The thing is that normally great leaders are telling that their group is equal, but that case is real only if there are enough things for everybody. But if there are not enough things for everybody there is always somebody, who is a little bit more equal than others.
This is the thing, that we must realize when we are reading or talking about holy writings. Some of those writings are mean to give topics for discussions. And the origin of them is deep inside the history. The most effective way to make trouble for the enemy is just to make the brick between leaders and the henchmen. The thing is that leaders are always taking the biggest bites from every cake. And that thing causes always jealous in the mind of henchmen. So there is always something else, what motivates henchmen than leaders.
