Almost an accident
The film above this text is made for instruction purposes of the USAF, and it tells, how to land B-52 without a tail. That kind of thing is "almost an accident situations", where the aircraft has damaged, and the secret cargo, like nuclear weapons, must return to the base. During highly secretive patrolling missions with nuclear cargo is impossible to call emergency help from other air forces or land that craft to places like Teheran. And the ability to fully control the aircraft, what tail has heavily damaged makes sure that the mission will be accomplished.
But the truth is that this kind of case is giving data to create new, and deadly aircraft, which have low radar visibility, and one of the key elements to make that kind of aircraft is to remove the vertical stabilizer of the craft. Removing the vertical stabilizer from the flying wings like B-2 and B-21, what are the successor and updated version of one the deadliest weapons on earth.
The base model of those big-sized stealth aircraft flying wing, which would increase the economy of the flight. And then another thing is that the payload of those crafts is better. But there is one more detail of the B-2 type flying wing, what people don't usually think.

The thing, that is not very often mentioned is that the real size of that kind of aircraft is hard to estimate. And by using the same shape, there could be many aircraft, what is looking like the same, but what size is different, and that means that there could be small-size tactical attack versions of those flying-wing shaped stealth bombers like mysterious "Black Manta", or some other stealth aircraft.
The stealth form, or rather saying smooth-curved stealth form allows also creates "slippery" aircraft. That means the air or pressure waves can move across the body of that aircraft with quite small resistance, which decreases friction. So the aircraft can fly longer time with lower fuel storage, but the excellent aerodynamic form of those stealth aircraft would make them ultimate fast and high-flying systems.
But for making those aircraft successful there is a need to make tests on how to land or handle the big-size aircraft, which has no vertical stabilizer. And that is giving data, how to handle the flaps and other controllers in the aircraft, what has no vertical stabilizer.
