Voodoo-dolls are sometimes resonance weapons. 

Sometimes the voodoo-doll is only the symbol, and if the "Hougan" or voodoo priest hits the stylus in some of those statues or dolls, the henchmen would go and punish that person. But sometimes the voodoo-doll covers a very bad surprise. 

The thing that is not always mentioned is that the voodoo-doll includes the resonance weapon. Sometimes the thing bases the jewelry like ring, what the voodoo-people would give to the person. If the copy of that jewelry, what is made by using the same raw material is hidden in the statue or some musical instrument the sound waves would transform into that jewelry, which causes a resonance in that bite, and that thing is dangerous. 

The resonance-effect causes fracture in the material, and that means that things like metal bites. One of the things is that if those bites are made by using the same steel.  If the same raw material is used in the walls would cause the oscillation of the steel in the concrete. And that destroys the material. 

The thing that kind of saboteur needs is the statue, that is made by using the same material, that is used in the structures. And if that person starts to play a violin near that statue. The effect is guaranteed at that point. That resonance weapon is one of the most fascinating and dangerous ideas, whatever created.  

The idea of the voodoo-dolls is simple, the voodoo-priest need only hair, what they put in the doll, the thing is that the resonance would cause the pain if somebody hits drum or player guitar near those dolls. The thing is that the doll itself can be hollow, which makes the resonance chamber in the statue. Then the voodoo-men must just play some instrument near those statues. That thing would resonate with the nail and hair, what are formed chitin, and that thing causes pain.
