There is the question, where the culture is born? There is one place on Earth, where that can happen, and it is called Tassili n’Ajjer, Algeria. And sometimes I have thought that could this place also be the first school in human history? And of course, we can think, that maybe the crossbow was invented in that place. The place is very famous for its paintings. The dry and calm weather has been stored those paintings on the rock forever.
The cave art at Tassili n’Ajjer, Algeria and the strange image on the wall are very interesting objects to researchers. Those paintings are very strange because the thing what is in the hand of the leader of the group is actually somewhere marked as the rifle. But another explanation is that this is actually a crossbow, and the persons who are portrayed on the rock maybe are Neanderthals or Cro-Magnon men. And this painting is actually portrayed as the evidence of ancient aliens. But there can be some more natural explanation. And that is that maybe those paintings have been made by Neanderthal humans, who came from the north and probably run away from the growing ice cap during the ice age.
That would be a good way to explain, why those paintings were made. The reason was probably, that one picture tells more than a thousand words, and maybe those ancient humans tried to explain, how they traveled on the icy winter to South and place, where the food was able to find easily than in the icy northern land. But those cave paintings are the oldest, what mankind has ever made, and sometimes I have thought, that maybe the culture and writing is formed in that place at Algeria. Maybe those paintings were made for training, how people should travel in strange areas, what was covered by ice. And in that case, the Tassili n’Ajjer was the first school in the history of mankind.
