Network-Based warfare is a very effective way to destroy enemies. This way to go in battle allows that commanders would get every information, what they need to aim the right weapons in the right point. And the idea of the network-based warfare is that even the headquarters can be destroyed, and there would be replacements for even that part of the systems. In the modern world, even the calculation centers can be mobilized, if they are installed in the ships or containers, what can be remotely operated, and the only thing, what those systems need is electricity. This kind of systems is created for backup systems for the cases, that the nuclear command centers like NORAD or Cheyenne mountain command center would be destroyed or heavily damaged by the attack of the nuclear missiles.
In fact, image recognition systems can be extremely effective in the military world. Those systems bases that the recon planes would send the image of the battlefield or another operation area to the calculating center, and the system will recognize and locate the position of armed persons or armed vehicles, and after that, the position of those persons would be set to the weapons aiming system. That system would use remote aiming of the weapon for fast and effective attack.
The next-generation solution for the precision guide weapons might be a cluster bomb, where each submunition would be targeted independently by using the GPS system and targets can be remotely set to each bomblet. Those cluster-units can be installed under the wings of the patrolling aircraft or they can shoot to the targets by using cannons and mortars. And they can be effective against the targets, what are locating the cities and other urban areas.
Fast computing systems would allow aiming each unit very fast, and this would allow that the GPS-system would be useful even in the cases, like mobile warfare. The thing is that this kind of systems is a key element in network-based warfare. The system would link the data, what is send by helmet cameras, drones, recon planes, and even satellites. The system would link those components together, and helps to make decisions for using firepower, and making documentation, how the weapons have been used in this kind of situation.
