The relationship between the career of the pharaoh and Abu Simbel
There is one idea, that came in my mind when I thought about Abu Simbel, and the thing is connecting with the location of that temple. There is a possibility that the pharaoh finished his lessons or training in the area of Abu Simbel, and then he steps in the boat. Then the river takes the pharaoh to the city of Theba, where he ruled Egypt. And at the last in the old man, pharaoh step in his boat. Then he started the journey to the Giza, where he died. So if the ancient Egyptians worked with that way, that would be good for information security.
The Nile has a special place in the society of Ancient Egypt. That river symbolizes life. Rising to the upper river symbolizes training and preparing, and turning back to down symbolizes that the person is ready for the work. Training is hard, but when the skills are ready, everything goes easily. Maybe there was some kind of traditions, where men must row to the upper Nile, and then slide down of the river. I don't know what kind of tradition the ordinary people had, but maybe ancient Egyptians wanted to see the world before they went to their work. And the Nile had an important role in the life of those people.
When the river Nile would take pharaoh to the next point, that man didn't need rowers, and this makes things safer. Maybe the Nile symbolizes the life of people. Rowing to the upper river was tough, and that thing is the symbol for reaching something. When the thing, what is wanted is reaching, life turns easier. And then the flow of the river turns to go down, and life is easy. But preparing for the mission is hard, and that thing is a suitable thing to think even today.
