The ballistic optical materials are the materials, that would turn the photons in the wanted direction. The thing with this kind of material is that they can create a new type of mirror. Those extremely small mirrors can use in the new type of optical microchips.

If the large part of the light can turn in the wanted direction, and the absorption of the light is minimum. That means the heating of those mirrors is very low. And that makes it possible to make the extremely small optical components.

The ballistic optical materials can make laser detectors unable to operate. And they can decrease the visibility of the object.

The protective field is the dream what is coming from science fiction novels. There is a possibility that the incoming ammunition would load with the same polarity of electricity as the layer that is protected that thing makes that the ammunition will start to act like magnets, which have the same poles against each other.

The radiation that would turn away from the observer would make the object invisible or decrease the visibility of the object. And the ballistic optical materials can also turn things like laser rays out from the layers.

If we would make the photonic crystals that can turn 100 percent of radiation in the wanted direction, that thing would make the object very hard to detect. The idea is that those crystals can turn in the wanted direction. So when the missile would launch against the aircraft, which uses this kind of stealth systems. The radiation would first drive away from the transmitter and then suddenly turn the same frequential radiation with a higher power to the missile. And that makes its warhead detonate too early.
