That kind of instrument can put also in the "loyal wingman" or some other "trap drone" whose mission is to record the data about enemy reactions. The purpose of trap drones is to make the enemy affect the incoming attacks and record things like radar signals and enemy communication.
The trap drone sends that data to the F-35 and then the AI can adjust the jammer systems to the most effective level. Things like intelligent radar systems that are giving counter-waves can improve the survivability and mission success of those attack aircraft. The QRIP systems can also send information about the most effective weapon systems. And also if something goes wrong and the missile or ammunition hits to F-35 the QRIP can share data on what went wrong. And other F-35s can adjust their trajectories and altitudes.

AI can make many things better than humans.
When we are thinking about AI and things like warfare AI can analyze very fast what made wrong. And then it can create new trajectories and closing profiles. But the thing that this kind of system requires is that humans must dare to take orders from the AI. AI is created for humans. And humans should be over AI. But for making successful operations. The system requires that humans follow orders that are from the AI. And that thing is difficult for somebody.
When we are thinking how effective thing AI can be. We must put ourselves in the position where we are following the orders of the AI. There is the possibility that chess players can win games by using AI. In that case, the AI gives instructions to the player on what is the next move. In that case, the AI can follow the game by using a camera and then say the next move to the player.
The AI can communicate with the player by using wireless headphones or an LRAD (targeted sound) system. But that requires that people and AI will turn their roles upside down. The human must take orders from AI. And that is difficult to understand. But AI can make new tactics and fix the errors that humans are making. If something goes wrong the AI requires all information about that thing. And if the AI can get all possible information it can fix the error immediately.
