The nuclear power train is one of the most insane systems in the world.




The Australian road trains could get more kicks from the nuclear power systems. When Russians created their nuclear-powered trains they didn't have PoNu (Portable Nuclear Reactors). 

When engineers use those container-size nuclear reactors turning, the train to nuclear power is a very easy process. The engineers must just put the portable nuclear reactor into one of the wagons. 




Then the electric wires will connect to the electric locomotive. But nuclear power could use in one of the most futuristic transportation systems. That is the train that can travel on regular highways. 

There is made plans for that kind of transportation system. But the problem with those systems is the power source. Nuclear power offers a very capable system for energy production and also for land-traveling vehicles. 




The portable nuclear reactor is a system that can transport to different places. And the same reactor can use as the power source in multiple systems. The container reactor can transfer between multiple platforms. 

The electric truck or electric jet turbine aircraft can also use the portable nuclear system. The truck can transport the portable nuke to the area where it is needed. Then engineers can connect that nuclear reactor to the electric network. 




The idea of those trains is simple. They are a combination of Australia's famous trains on wheels. And regular passenger trains. That kind of nuclear-powered train can be one of the futuristic transportation systems.

In some versions, those "road trains" are ACVs (air-cushion vehicles) connected to chains. Those chained ACVs are very capable systems that can travel on ice or flat desert areas. So those systems can act as laboratories in remote areas. Or if those trains have a cylinder-shaped body they can travel even at the bottom of the sea.
