The bird's mysterious quantum sense observe the first time in a laboratory.

We know that many animals like birds and dogs can sense magnetic fields, but do you know that some of them can also see the magnetic fields. In the eyes of those species are cells that are sending light when they are stressed with the magnetic field. And those same cells can be cultured on the CCD-chip, which would make it possible to make the revolutionary magnetic sensors that are making images of the magnetic field. Those cells can culture in laboratories quite easily and they can take from the eyes of birds like every other cell test.

In those species, the eye is the cells, what is sending the flash of light when the magnet passes them and that thing has caused the question can some animals see thoughts too? When we are thinking about the possibility that the animal can sense and even get the visual image of the magnetic field, what is very weak, we must ask can those animals see the magnetic field around our head?

If some species are seeing that thing, they can theoretically read our minds. The special cells are giving those animals this ability, and we could benefit those cells in biosensors, which are observing the magnetic fields like cameras. If we are thinking about the possibility to make the biosensors, that are basing the living cells of the cell cultures those kinds of sensors would give new abilities to observe the magnetic fields. The only thing that we must remember is that we should feed those cells. And control their growth in the cell culture.

The researchers of the University of Tokyo have the first time observed the reaction, where the magnetic field causes a flash of light in cells. And that thing can benefit in the future in the instruments that are observing very weak magnetic fields, and those systems might be used also as lie detectors.

In those futuristic systems, the cell cultures where those cells are will put in the chamber, where is very sensitive light cells. The purpose of those light cells is to act as the compound eye. That sensor detects the flashes of light in those cells. That kind of biosensor can detect many things, what we ever imagine.

Antimatter motor

Antimatter motor Antimatter would be an effective fuel for interstellar spacecraft Antimatter would be the most effective power source in the world. It will be the most suitable motor for interstellar spacecraft, but the problem is that thing is very reactive. And actually one of the biggest problems with this kind of motor is that the gram of antimatter would turn the entire planet to the molecular nebula. So this kind of motor can produce only outside of our solar system. Producing antimatter would need large particle accelerators, and that kind of systems might look like giant donuts, what is floating on the space. There are two ways to create the antimatter motor, one is to store the anti-ions in the magnetic bottle, where the pushing magnetic field will keep those ions away from the wall of the bottle, and then the antimatter would conduct to the water or some other particle. The huge explosion or annihilation reaction would send the rocket to a very high speed. The antimatt...

The cyborg lichen can be one of the most exotic visions of what the high-tech civilization might look like.

.     The cyborg lichen can be one of the most exotic visions of what the high-tech civilization might look like. Above is the image of the nano-submarine. There is introduced an idea, that this kind of system would equip with living neurons, which makes it like some kind of artificial bug or mosquito. The idea is that the robot can take the nutrient by using the robot tube, which acts like a proboscis. The neurons can get nutrients and the rest of the machine can use small fuel cells or the energy to that system can deliver by using the radio waves. Futurologists are thinking about the ideas, what the hybridization of the neurons and machine would look like? Could the hyper-technical civilization look like the group of midget submarines? Those submarines might take nutrients for the neurons, what is living in them. The purpose of the midget submarines, which might be size less than a couple of millimeters would maximize the survivability of the neurons. One of the most intere...

Who really was Plato, the great philosopher?

When we are thinking about the great philosopher Plato, we are thinking about the man who established the Academy of Athens. And we might remember that this man was a traveler. He traveled in many places in his life and wrote many texts and books, which still is very respected thoughts about the state and other things. When we are looking at the books or series of books, we are facing the thing, that there were lots of texts. If we want to use criticism we must notice that the model of the ideal state is rising the kings in the very high position, and the thing would flatter the kings. And sometimes I have thought that maybe that famous model of the ideal state is written by somebody else. The thing is that the model, where the philosophers rule the state behind the lines of soldiers could be written for the persons like Justinian, who was really flattered. The thing is that this kind of writings was meant for flatter the rulers, who would not persecute philosophers, even they had d...
