The development of new tanks is the race between improved defense and improved ammunition. The first version of active armor was that the tank was covered by explosive plates that would detonate the antitank shell too early before it reaches the armor.

So the system is a hybrid of the inertia (gyroscope) and IIR (Imaging Infra-Red, which means an optical system that uses the visible light and thermal camera combination. Another way is to use the quadcopters, which can deliver to an area by using various systems. The quadcopter will send the location signal to the missile.

And at the beginning of the trajectory, the missile would aim at the quadcopter. Which points to the target by using a laser designator. This kind of system can use when missiles must fly over the barrier. In this kind of scenario, the shooter cannot get straight visual contact with the target, and the aiming of the ammunition must be done by using the "unstraight" methodology.
